Is an abandoned match a no-result?

Not always. Check the playing conditions, because the two can be treated differently.

Does an abandoned match count toward net run rate?

It depends on the league. Often it is excluded if no overs were bowled.

Glossary

The match did not become a result under the playing conditions, often before a meaningful start.

A match is abandoned when it is stopped and cannot be completed under the playing conditions. Often this means no ball, or too few overs, was bowled.

Write "abandoned" and the reason. The league decides how points are awarded.
